2. Children Under the Age of 18

  •  Your name and email address from the Xthings user who invited you, if you are invited to create an account. Your email address and other account details will be obtained directly from you during the setup process, provided that you accept the invitation.
  •  Information you provide when you subscribe to any of our Services, such as your name and email address.
  •  Information about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Services, and usage details. 

Notice and User Acknowledgment Regarding Photos, Audio, Videos and Device Information

The following sets for Xthings’ statement regarding photos, audio, and videos you upload or capture through your devices associated with its Products.

Xthings’ Products use a unique encryption algorithm to process image data captured by the camera, converting it into secure template data for storage and transmission. This data is optimized for features such as facial recognition, object detection, or scene analysis, and cannot be reversed to reconstruct the original image. Additionally, the encrypted data ensures that it cannot be accessed or misused by third parties, providing enhanced privacy and security for users. Xthings Products do not capture, collect, obtain, or record users’ images and no information stored within the Products are transmitted outside the Products and will never be shared to any third party.

Certain legislative bodies have enacted laws governing the commercial use of photos, audio, videos and biometric-facilitated transactions. Although Xthings does not perform or control the collection of such data, customers who use Xthings Products including for commercial transactions may be responsible for adhering to those laws.

You acknowledge and agree that any notice, disclosure, consent, or other obligations that may be applicable to the use of Xthings Products under laws governing photos, audio, videos and biometric-facilitated transactions are your responsibility, not that of Xthings; You further agree to release and hold harmless Xthings from any liability associated with any notice, disclosure, consent, or other obligation that may be applicable to the Products with respect to alleged photo, audio, video and biometric information. Nothing in this provision limits the applicability of the “Our Limitation of Liability,” “Disputes with Xthings,” or any other provision in the Terms and Conditions.

4. How Xthings Collects Your Information

If you have filled out forms on our Site, Web APP or Mobile Applications, signed up on our mobile applications or contacted us by phone or email, you may be providing us with information about you, which may include personal information. This includes information you provide when you register on the Xthings Site, Web APP or Mobile Applications, register or return a Xthings product, subscribe to any of our services, search for a product, place an order on our website, downloaded software and apps, reported a problem with the Xthings website or our products, or requested support.

We may automatically collect information when you use the Xthings Site, Web APP or Mobile Applications, such as technical information, including the IP address used to connect your computer or other device to the Internet, browser type and version, time zone setting, operating system and platform and language preferences.   •  Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this site may then be inaccessible or not function properly.
  •  Promotional Offers from the Company. If you do not wish to have your contact information used by the Company to promote our own products or services, you can opt-out by sending us an email stating your request to privacy@xthings.com. You can access to your personal information that is being processed by us. You can also review and update your personal information by logging into your account profile page. You may also change and delete your User Account information from your account in our Apps or on the Site. We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

If you delete your User Contributions from the Services, copies of your User Contributions may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or might have been copied or stored by other Services users.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Utah each provides their state residents with rights to:
